Guitarist here looking to start Death Metal/ Grind Band ala The Black Dahlia Murder, Cattle Decapitation, Malevolent Creation, Cryptopsy, The Faceless, Animosity, Opeth, Glass Casket, The Red Chord, Martyr, The Dillinger Escape Plan (early), Cannibal Corpse, Origin, Aborted, Decrepit Birth, Morbid Angel, Inferi, World Under Blood, Foreign Objects, Gorguts, Napalm Death, Death, Century, Converge, and the list goes on but those are just influences... I've been playing guitar for 20 years now, I'm 34. I just moved to Riverside from East Oakland, CA. I used to perform live back in the day but have not had the time since my early 20's... now I live with my dog and wife at our house in Riverside, and looking to see what the area has when it comes to Death Metal/ Grind. Open to anything but you have to have your own gear, and be open as well to just jam/ write and see what happens... No divas or dictators. Not too into "core" type metal unless it is ala Red Chord or Converge, really. Not a breakdown fan. Hate to be a pooper. I am open however... Looking for another guitarist, bassist, drummer (man, you have to have your chops down with metal because if you don't then... yeah... no bueno for rhythm...), and vocalist.
