Thanks for your interest in my profile, glad you stopped by. I have been performing on stage and in the studio since 1996. I specialize in vocals and never stop working at the guitar. Full transparency, I am not a lead guitar player nor a highly skilled guitar player at that, but I have worked hard to improve those skills over the years. I have a lot of respect for those with advanced guitar skills, but I am not a skilled guitarist. Specifics are provided addressing guitar skills because I have received more and more inquiries about guitar skill. I can perform several songs with the guitar but would much rather trust the skills of a specialist and focus on delivering vocally. I have played for small and large crowds, from bars, clubs, outdoor venues such as town festivals, rodeo's and cookoffs, charity benefits, and several private functions. I was in a relatively successful band throughout college at Texas State University, San Marcos (Southwest Texas State University when I attended). We focused mostly on private functions and booked through referrals but were always either hired or asked to perform anytime we rehearsed or submitted a demo. I have not performed or recorded in the last 5-6 years due to marriage, fatherhood and career demands but things have changed quickly in that regard. I am still a very engaged father of a 4-year-old daughter. Otherwise, I am looking forward to getting back into music. I have never done it for any other reason than because I love music - but have inadvertently made good money over the years. I am still committed to my career but open to taking music as far as other band members are willing to take it. I am a tenor but manage to have a wide vocal range, enjoy performing covers and originals. Key influences are standard for a guy raised in Texas from George Strait to Pat Green, old stuff, new stuff, and everything in between. Please feel free to contact me if you're interested in discussing any opportunities to work together to make music. Thanks again for your interest!
