Singer/violinist and guitarist/backing vocalist looking for drums and bass to rehearse Thursday nights in Rogers Park

We have a concept for a theatrical disco-pop band with existential themes. We are treating this as much like a musical theater production as a music group.

The plan is to wear masks and remain anonymous, and work on making an EP to be ready for release before even attempting to book our first show.

While we have the concept and basic sound, we are hoping to include musicians who will be able to write songs with us or bring in songs of their own, and who are excited about creating a theatrical presentation. We want this to be a collaborative project where every member has a part in the creative process.

We would prefer a DRUMMER who is capable of playing to a click and triggering loops or samples. Back up vocals would be a plus, but optional.

We would prefer a BASSIST who can also sing back up. Keys or other instruments a plus, but optional.

Regardless of your instrument, we would need you to be friendly, patient, and kind, as well as able to commit to rehearsals on Thursday nights and secrecy regarding the project. Also, it would help if you appreciated terrible jokes, because that’s pretty much the language our guitarist speaks.
