Jamaica - New Orleans Dance Riddims. Yogoman Burning Band came out of band leader Jordan Rain’s penchant for vintage Jamaican (Mento, Blue Beat, Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae, Roots, Dub and early Dancehall) and New Orleans (Jazz, RnB, Soul, Funk, Rap, and Brass Band music). Rain was raised on Rock n Roll, and began his career in the early 90’s DIY/Underground Seattle, WA music scene where he was raised. Rain became a live vinyl DJ in 1999 favoring live dance bands from the 60’s to modern era. Kicking off his own positive and vibrant dance band in 2005 in response to the often rainy weather patterns of the Pacific Northwest, Yogoman Burning Band began with an all star line up of the NW’s best and most innovative musicians from all walks. Fast Forward 20 years and Rain is just as committed to carrying out his vision to taking his music world wide and keeping the music friendly to all ages. Yogoman is currently seeking talented and dedicated full time musicians. Not for the faint of heart, or one looking for a hobby band; Yogoman Burning Band is here to stay on the American and International landscape, putting happiness through dancing back into American culture.
